  1. Prayer

In this collection, Mark Davis reflects on prayer by considering how Jesus taught his disciples to pray, commonly called “The Lord’s Prayer.” When we pray, Mark says, we are listening to and talking to the living God. Mark Davis is the senior pastor of Park Cities Presbyterian Church in Dallas, Texas.

“When we’re praying and we’re in Christ, we’re praying in His name and the Spirit lives in us: all of that is about the one true living God. We’re not talking about an idea. We’re not talking about a worldview or to a worldview. We’re talking to the Creator of the universe who’s omnipotent, all-powerful, omniscient, all-knowing, omni-present, all-present, and I would say omni-loving; He’s all loving.” —Mark Davis

    Renewal

FORTHCOMING 2026 What follows is a conversation with Kelly Kapic. Kelly is professor of theological studies at Covenant College and the author of numerous books on the intersection of theology and our lives in the world. In these reflections, Kelly considers what it means to be a Christian and the nature of change as we come to know and enjoy God.

“Nobody knows where you’ve come from better than God. And He’s given you His Spirit, and He’s doing something slowly, but truly. So, in some ways He knows nothing’s changed, but everything’s changed. But it takes a long time to start to live into that reality.” —Kelly Kapic
